Philip Treuil has made many contributions to the field of veterinarian medicine, helping to expand the specialized knowledge of the area by leaps and bounds. His love for science was what drove him to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in secondary science education from the University of Oklahoma in 1998.
Philip Treuil enrolled at Louisiana State University’s program for Veterinarian Medicine. This program allowed Philip Treuil to learn the foundations of veterinarian medicine. After receiving his diploma in 2002, Philip Treuil took part in an internship with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. During his internship, Philip Treuil received hands-on experience working with many different kinds of small animals. This internship gave Philip Treuil the skills and hands-on experience he would need to be successful in the field of veterinarian work.
A few years later, Philip Treuil felt the need to move beyond the knowledge and expertise he already possessed. Although already very busy with a thriving professional career, he made the decision to specialize his practice by obtaining a Master’s degree in Radiology Biology. Philip Treuil returned to school at Colorado State University and enrolled in a Master’s program, continuing on to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology at Colorado State University.
In 2001, Philip Treuil won first place in the Phi Zeta Research Emphasis Day Student Competition. This award was a great achievement, singling Philip Treuil out amongst all Master of Science students, clinical residents, and veterinary students. Philip Treuil won for his presentation of cloning, expression, and in vitro evaluation of recombinant canine canastatin. This recognition was a big moment in Philip Treuil’s career. Today, Philip Treuil is a leader in the field of Radiation Therapy in veterinarian medicine. He continues to make advances and contributions to the field of animal medicine and oncology.
