Philip Treuil is an experienced and successful veterinarian who provides care for animals suffering from cancer. Philip Treuil’s specialized field is a direct consequence of his years of education. Philip Treuil first graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 as a secondary science education major. After student teaching high school science in the public schools of Norman, Oklahoma, Philip Treuil made the decision to return to school to further his education in science. Teaching others reminded Philip Treuil of how much he enjoyed learning, leading him to begin his new program the following year.
Philip Treuil enrolled at Louisiana State University in the Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine program, graduating with his degree and certification in 2002. After that, Philip Treuil participated in an internship where he worked for the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. This internship specialized in small animal medicine, allowing Philip Treuil to gain firsthand experience in the field. This experience would help him in his future career as he became a veterinarian.
After completing his internship with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group, Philip Treuil returned to school again to obtain a Master’s degree. Philip Treuil started at Colorado State University in a graduate program for Radiation Biology. This specific degree would allow Philip Treuil to focus his practice on specific animal issues, such as cancer. In 2005, Philip Treuil finished his Master’s degree program. In addition to his course work, Philip Treuil completed a Radiation Oncology residency where he received hands on learning skills that he would use in his future career.
Before graduating, Philip Treuil was recognized as the Environmental and Radiological Health Services Graduate Student of the year. This recognition honored all of Philip Treuil’s hard work and dedication to his education over the years. Philip Treuil was a leader in his class and continued to inspire and work hard in the course of his professional career as well.
