Guest Speaker for Veterinarian Radiology: Philip Treuil

Philip Treuil is a qualified and well-educated veterinarian specializing in radiation therapy for pets and other animals suffering from cancer or other life threatening illnesses.  With a Master’s degree from Colorado State University, Philip Treuil is able to specialize in the field of animal oncology and make various contributions to research and advancements in treatment therapies.  Philip Treuil is a member of many societies and professional groups that allow him to share his expertise with fellow veterinarians in the field.  Philip Treuil is regarded by his colleagues as an intelligent and resourceful veterinarian, dedicated to improving his field and working closely with his fellow doctors.

As a leader in the field, Philip Treuil is often asked to speak at conferences and seminars on the subject of radiation therapy in veterinarian medicine.  In early 2006, Philip Treuil spoke on the introduction to clinical radiation oncology for the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association.  Philip Treuil has also appeared as the guest speaker for the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association on the subject of how to combine surgery and radiation therapy in animal medicine in 2009.  As the guest speaker for the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association, Philip Treuil spoke about the impact of total dose on tumor control in 2009.

Philip Treuil has also addressed the subject of the effect of anemia on survival in feline patients undergoing curative intent radiation therapy at the 24th Annual Veterinary Cancer Society Conference in 2004.  He has spoken on the prevalence of anemia in feline patients undergoing curative intent radiation therapy at the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2004.  Also in 2004, Philip Treuil was asked to speak about the Physiology Associated with Hyperthermia and Radiation Therapy for the Radiation Biology – Tumor Therapy seminar series at Colorado State University.
