Philip Treuil currently has a thriving and successful career in veterinarian medicine.  The work he does today was all inspired by his past educational experiences.  After obtaining a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 in secondary science education, Philip Treuil knew he was interested in pursuing a career in science.  After working as a student teacher in the public high schools of Norman, Oklahoma and sharing his love for the subject, Philip Treuil decided he wanted to return to school to become a veterinarian.

In 2002, Philip Treuil received his certification from Louisiana State University to be a Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine.  After excelling in the classroom at Louisiana State University, Philip Treuil went on to complete an internship with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group, specializing in small animal medicine.  This gave Philip Treuil hands on experience in the field that helped him further his love for his work.  With the experience at Louisiana State University and his work with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group, Philip Treuil’s resume was beaming.

In 2005, Philip Treuil again decided to further his education and returned to school for the second time.  This time, Philip Treuil enrolled at Colorado State University for a Master’s degree in Radiation Biology.  This degree would offer Philip Treuil a specific focus in his practice of animal medicine.  In addition to his studies at Colorado State University, Philip Treuil also completed a Radiation Oncology residency program.  This residency gave Philip Treuil hands on experience with the work of radiation oncology and prepared him for the challenges and tasks he would go on to see in his own practice.

Once graduating from his graduate program, Philip Treuil was recognized for his many outstanding achievements in the field.  He continued to make advancements in his work and was published in several academic journals on the subject of radiation oncology in veterinarian medicine.
